Diversity in Schools Masterclass – For Governors
September 5 @ 9:00 am - 12:30 pm
Join Bennie Kara, Hannah Jepson and Hannah Wilson in this Diversity in Education Masterclass to prepare you for the new academic year.
We are pooling our expertise and experience to deliver a 3 part masterclass – 3 sessions, 3 perspectives, 3 things for you to commit to in your pledge to embed diversity into your teaching.
This masterclass is for governors:
- In Part 1: Vision and Values: Embedding diversity and inclusion in your school’s culture, Hannah W will challenge you to think about what you should be looking for and how you can hold others accountable.
- In Part 2: Inclusive Recruitment: How to challenge your bias and make better decisions, Hannah J will challenge you to think about how you do talent management and your recruitment processes.
- In Part 3: Colouring in Your Curriculum: How to diversify your units of work and your long-term plan, Bennie will challenge you to think about what your school should be teaching and how to audit it.
Each part will be 45 minutes long with a balance of input, reflection and discussion. This is a paid for event.
At the end of the masterclass you will be able to ask the 3 of us any questions about your vision, your provision and your next steps.
