After qualifying as a dyslexia specialist in 2012\, she worked as a Learning Support teacher for students across Key Stages 1 to 4 in both independent and special schools. In 2018\, she retrained as a specialist dyscalculia teacher and assessor. She spent three years tutoring children\, young people and adults internationally on remote learning platforms and is now a full-time assessor for both dyscalculia and dyslexia.
