A little more about Amanda
Amanda Keen has been teaching since 1995, spending 17 years working within the primary sector. After qualifying as a dyslexia specialist in 2012, she worked as a Learning Support teacher for students across Key Stages 1 to 4 in both independent and special schools. In 2018, she retrained as a specialist dyscalculia teacher and assessor. She spent three years tutoring children, young people and adults internationally on remote learning platforms and is now a full-time assessor for both dyscalculia and dyslexia. She has spoken at several conferences and led a number of webinars, as well as a Maths Hub SEND research group focused on maths anxiety.
