This webinar aims to give teachers an evidenced-based toolkit they can rely on to support the young people in their classrooms as well as the adults in their community, without adding to their workload.
The ramifications of the COVID-19 lockdown for the wellbeing of young people are currently unpredictable.
So, as schools returned in September to a different format everyone is feeling unsure and concerned about what will happen. The need to provide a sense of safety and security will be paramount.
Teachers will be at the front line for identifying and signposting those who are struggling with their mental health. At the same time, these teachers may be struggling themselves and they often feel ill-equipped to support the young people in their care. However, there are simple things that teachers can do in their classrooms and understanding how to identify and support young people who are struggling could make all the difference.
This is a paid for event: £48.50
