Trauma Informed Education

Dealing with trauma in our classrooms can be complex and challenging. However, with understanding and adaptive teaching, it is possible to make an incredible difference to the educational experience of children that often need your support the most.

Our presenter on this course is Dr Louise Egan. Louise is an experienced Clinical Psychologist and Senior Fellow of The Higher Education Academy with over 16 years experience. Louise has delivered training to multidisciplinary professionals in statutory and independent services over the past 16 years. Louise currently works as a Director of Clinical Excellence and Safeguarding Lead at Hello Self. 

The two lessons she shares with you will support your understanding of trauma, it’s impact and the strategies you can employ to be most effective in the classroom.
