Invigilators are crucial for schools and colleges to run examination seasons effectively. There is a great demand for invigilators and so you can improve your employability by being ready to go when exam season comes around.
As well as watching the short instructional videos and completing the quiz, it is strongly advised that you read the official JCQ guidelines which are in the materials section of this course.
The videos refer to the official JCQ 2025 – 2026 guidance for conducting examinations and the role of the invigilator within this. They are easy to follow and explain the key points you need to be aware of.
Again, you can access the full guidance document from the JCQ, titled ‘Instructions for conducting examinations’ and the JCQ ‘Invigilator Checklist’ in the materials section of this course.
