Our First Star Teacher Award Winner

Our first star teacher award winner is Cat McWhinnie!

She was nominated because she was simply brilliant during lockdown and called a parent and her boys every week to check in on them, chatted with them, did their EHCP annual review online and to quote, “was just brilliant.  Since returning both my children have had various issues and she has been there for them (and the rest of the SEN department).”

A box of chocolate biscuits is on its way to Cat’s school’s staffroom.
